EDExpress Basics Web-based Training

   
 
The Information for Financial Aid Professionals Web site is the gateway to all of the FSA sites a school uses.

Download Training Software

To use this training you might have to complete up to five downloads.

EDExpress for Windows 4.0

To use the training version of EDExpress, you must first have the latest version of the EDExpress for Windows software. Download it here if you don't already have it installed on your system. If you're not sure if you have it, go to Start, Programs, EDESuite, EDExpress 2009-2010, EDExpress for Windows 2009-2010. When the program opens the version appears on the splash screen. You can also visit Help, About EDExpress for Windows once logged into the software. You should also install any updates needed based on Electronic Announcements posted to the IFAP Web site.

EDExpress Training Version

Once you have the latest version of EDExpress for Windows installed on your system you can download the training version of EDExpress. After the download is complete, select the 'expressr4training0910.exe' icon to begin the installation process. If an Overwrite Protection dialog box appears, select the Yes to All button to overwrite the files. After the InstallShield(R) Wizard loads, select the Next button to finish the installation process. Download the training version now.

Import Files

Finally, you will need to download and unzip the import files. Select the self-extracting trainingdata.exe icon, then select the Unzip button which will place the files in a directory called C:\iam\TRAININGDATA-ACCESSIBLE. Download the files now.
