Subject: 2013-2014 SAR Comment Codes and Text Guide (February 2013 Update) (Updated March 5, 2013)
Note: On March 5, 2013 we updated this posting by revising the last bullet to more accurately describe the addition of comment codes to the NSLDS Match table. In addition, we have reposted the guide and tracking log to resolve several related issues. Refer to the tracking log of changes posted with the guide or in the Appendix for a complete description of the changes.
We are pleased to announce the posting of an update to the 2013-2014 SAR Comment Codes and Text reference guide. The reference guide is designed as a stand-alone guide as well as a companion to the 2013-2014 EDE Technical Reference. The guide includes a description of changes to the SAR comments for 2013-2014, and also provides the complete text for all 2013-2014 comments.
The February 2013 update contains the following revisions:
Addition of comment codes 323 and 326, which are associated with specific loan servicers.
Revision of action needed for comment codes 359 and 360.
Addition of comment codes to the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) Match table for NSLDS Results Flag = 1 and Match Flag = 2.
