Dear Colleague:

We are pleased to announce instructor-led, online training that will focus on proposed rules related to changes to the regulations governing the Federal Pell Grant, Federal Work-Study, and Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education Grant (TEACH Grant) programs as well as changes to other institutional requirements related to the administration of all of the Title IV student assistance programs. As explained in an August 21, 2009 Electronic Announcement on the Information for Financial Aid Professionals Web site, we published the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NRPM) in the Federal Register on August 21, 2009. The training is intended for all participants in the Title IV student assistance programs.

Department of Education staff will present this information in a 90-minute session on Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at 1:30 P.M. (ET).
