Subject: Reminder - Advantages of Using Reach FSA Phone Number

This is a reminder to the financial aid community of the advantages of using the Reach FSA phone line, available at 1-855-FSA-4FAA (1-855-372-4322), to access one of 10 school contact centers.

Reach FSA was created in response to requests from financial aid administrators (FAAs) who asked for simplified access to Federal Student Aid's multiple school contact centers. Below are the 10 contact centers that may easily be accessed via Reach FSA:

  • Campus-Based Call Center

  • Central Processing System (CPS)/Student Aid Internet Gateway (SAIG) Technical Support

  • Common Origination and Disbursement (COD) School Relations Center

  • eZ-Audit Help Desk

  • Federal Student Aid Research and Customer Care Center (RCCC)

  • Foreign Schools Participation Division

  • G5 Hotline

  • National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) Customer Support Center

  • Nelnet Total and Permanent Disability Servicer

  • School Eligibility Service Group

Reach FSA offers callers a fast and convenient way to connect to the 10 contact centers through one easy-to-remember phone number. A caller may use one of the following three options to access the appropriate contact center:

  • Speak the name of the contact center the caller would like to reach.

  • Listen to brief descriptions of each contact center.

  • Listen to examples of potential reasons for calling to help identify the appropriate contact center.

Note: This number should not be shared with students or borrowers, as it is intended to be used as a tool for FAAs only.

We encourage FAAs to use Reach FSA. It is a resource that makes contact center access easier for schools in their efforts to serve financial aid recipients.
