Subject: 2020–21 and myFAFSA Preview Presentations

To assist the community with the 2020–21 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form processing cycle, we are pleased to provide the attached Microsoft PowerPoint presentations containing information and screen shots pertaining to the 2020–21 website and the myFAFSA feature of the myStudentAid mobile app.

The purpose of the 2020–21 presentations is to provide financial aid administrators (FAAs), mentors, and counselors with screen shots that can be used as a reference tool for the site and the mobile app. We encourage you to use this information for internal staff training or for high school financial aid night presentations.

Note the following items:

  • The screen shots in these presentations are intended to show most of the questions on and myFAFSA; however, most students and/or parents will likely not need to answer all these questions when completing their application.

  • The myFAFSA presentation screen shots include only the student role, except for the signature process, where we show both student and parent roles.

  • All data used to create these presentations is test data and is intended to show examples of what the site and the app look like.

The 2020–21 Web Demonstration site is available at The demonstration site can be used as a training tool for your staff and for students and parents.

In addition, detailed information about enhancements to both and myFAFSA is provided in the 2020–21 Summary of Changes for the Application Processing System guide, which was posted to the Information for Financial Aid Professional (IFAP) website earlier this month.
