Our Federal offices as well as our Title IV processors and call centers will be closed on Monday, December 25, 2006 to observe the Christmas Day Federal holiday and again on Monday, January 1, 2007 to observe the New Year's Day Federal holiday.
The Common Origination and Disbursement (COD) System will accept and process data from schools and send back responses/acknowledgments on Monday, December 25, 2006 and on Monday, January 1, 2007, but schools will not be able to receive any Federal funds on those days. Requests for changes in funding levels and for funds will not be processed until Tuesday, December 26, 2006 and Tuesday, January 2, 2007, respectively.
The Central Processing System (CPS) will accept data on Monday, December 25, 2006 and on Monday, January 1, 2007 but will not process new Institutional Student Information Records (ISIRs) until Tuesday, December 26, 2006 and Tuesday, January 2, 2007, respectively. The 2007-2008 FAFSA on the Web application will be available to students and parents beginning on January 1, 2007.
All Federal Student
Aid Web sites will remain operational on the holidays.
