Additional 2020–21 COD System Implementation Information

For this release, there is limited functionality that impacts schools and software provider systems. As of June 29, 2020, we will update the COD System to calculate and edit awards and disbursements using the sequester-required Direct Loan fees and sequester-required percentage reduction to awards in the Iraq and Afghanistan Service Grant and TEACH Grant programs where the first disbursement is on or after October 1, 2020. For more information about the sequester-required changes to the Title IV federal student aid programs, refer to a June 23, 2020 Electronic Announcement.
