2020 Virtual Federal Student Aid Training Conference: Request for Return of Title IV Funds (R2T4) Questions

In an effort to bring the most informative and relevant R2T4 guidance to our institutions during our 2020 Virtual Federal Student Aid Training Conference for Financial Aid Professionals, we are requesting assistance from the higher education community. Specifically, we are asking institutions to submit to the Department any R2T4 related questions that they believe are common issues or critical concerns that would be beneficial if shared with all institutions.

Though the Department will review all questions submitted, due to presentation time constraints it may not be possible to incorporate all the questions received into the R2T4 session. Presenters will focus on questions with the broadest appeal and those that include the most serious concerns about R2T4 within the higher education community.

To ensure your R2T4 questions will be considered for inclusion into the Department’s R2T4 presentation, please submit your questions via email to R2T4ConferenceQuestions@ed.gov by September 11, 2020.

Please do not submit questions through this process that are related to COVID-19 or CARES Act R2T4 relief as described in the Department’s May 15, 2020 Electronic Announcement. Policy issues related to COVID-19 will be discussed in a separate FSA conference session. COVID-19-related questions should continue to be sent to COVID-19@ed.gov.

Please note that questions submitted to the Department through this process will not receive an individual response. If your questions are not addressed within the formal presentation and/or you still have outstanding issues, please continue to submit your Title IV related questions to AskAFED@ed.gov.
