We are pleased to announce the availability of the updated National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS®) Enrollment Reporting Guide, a comprehensive document containing step-by-step instructions for reporting enrollment information to NSLDS. The November 2020 update provides information on new functionality in NSLDS and reflects guidance on enrollment reporting that we posted to the Information for Financial Aid Professionals (IFAP) website since the guide’s last publication (November 2019). Refer to the “What’s New?” section at the beginning of the guide for a complete description of all updates.
The updated NSLDS Enrollment Reporting Guide (November 2020) is available in the NSLDS User Documentation section of the IFAP website.
We have also updated the NSLDS Enrollment Submittal Template, an online reporting method schools can use to supply enrollment data to NSLDS. The updated spreadsheet is now available on the Software and Other Tools page of the IFAP website (https://ifap.ed.gov/software-and-other-tools). The Sample File tab has been updated with an example of how to report new functionality.
