The ISIR Analysis Tool is designed to help schools conduct an in depth analysis of applicant populations in order to help them understand the effectiveness of their own verification procedures in targeting data elements and students most likely to correct applicant information. The purpose of this section is to show you how to access and navigate the Tool, as well as to provide a step-by-step walk-through of the functions.
How Do I Access the ISIR Analysis Tool?
1) To access the ISIR Analysis Tool, you first must enroll for FAA Access to CPS Online. Most schools already have financial aid staff enrolled for FAA Access to CPS Online. Staff who are responsible for using the ISIR Analysis Tool must ensure that they are enrolled and have been assigned access to use the ISIR Analysis Tool within FAA Access to CPS Online.
2) Once you are enrolled and receive your PIN, you can access the site. Go to Start, select Programs and then select Internet Explorer.
Enter the following address: (https://faaaccess.ed.gov/).
You are now on the FAA Access to CPS online page. From this page, click the Next button.
You now need to confirm your identity. Respond to the four questions by entering your Social Security Number; the first two letters of your last name; your date of birth in the proper format: mmddyyyy; and your PIN. Click the Submit button.
You should now be on the Welcome to the FAA main menu page. From here, scroll down to the bottom (the second to the last bullet) and select ISIR Analysis Tool.
You should now be on the Destination/Federal School Code Entry Screen. From here, you must enter your Destination Code (this code begins with a TG). Enter your 6 digit Federal School Code. For the school year, you will select either the current or previous award year. Click the Next button. This will take you to the home page of the ISIR Analysis Tool.
